Typical Stick Grip Switch Combinations for Lancair IV / IV-P Aircraft with 2 Axis Trim and Wing Spoilers:
#1 (thumb operated 4-way switch via China Hat) — Pitch and Rudder (or Roll) Trim. The remaining axis trim (Roll or Rudder Trim) not controlled via the 4-way Trim Switch remains on the panel or console;
#2 (index finger) — PTT
#3 (thumb side) — Wing Spoilers (ON)/OFF/(ON), or ON/NONE/ON toggle switch, or ON/OFF push-button switch, depending on whose Wing Spoiler system you install;
#4 (half way down, thumb side) — Auto Pilot Control Wheel Steering (CWS) or Auto Pilot Altitude Hold (you need to tell me if the switch you need is an 8632 N.O. or 8632 N.C.), or Fuel Pump which is an ON/OFF (8636) push-button;
#5 (pinky switch) — Auto Pilot Disconnect – I just need to know what kind of switch your auto pilot needs (i.e. — 8632 N.O. or 8632 N.C.), or tell me what kind of auto pilot you are installing (I may know what switch is required);
#6 (thumb operated, knuckle side of hand) — Auto Pilot Altitude Hold or Auto Pilot Control Wheel Steering (CWS) [you need to tell me if the switch you need is an 8632 N.O. or an 8632 N.C.], or Auxiliary Fuel Pump which is an ON/OFF (8636) push-button;
Just chcek the switch you want on the Order Form for positions 3, 4, 5 and 6, then mail, FAX or call your order in.
So when you are ready, click here for a combination Order Form and Wiring Schematic to print out. Fill in the top of the form, and all the other blanks, then just circle the switch you want on the Order Form for positions 3, 4, 5 and 6, and please don’t forget to write in it’s “Use”. Then FAX, mail, e-mail, or call your order in. Don’t forget your phone number, because if the “Use” doesn’t match what you have circled on your Order Form, I’m going to call or e-mail you 🙂 .
